Hello. I am Greg Zrust. An independent, self-employed Master Barber / Hairstylist with over 40 years experience. I work with several other coworkers in a modern hair salon in the Crocus Hill neighborhood of St. Paul. Besides giving you your best haircut ever, I will share with you my favorite grooming tips, product knowledge and styling techniques in a relaxing, comfortable environment.

Not only on the outer edges,(perimeter), but also how to texture and give movement to the inside (interior) of the haircut. Knowing which tools to use and the proper cutting technique is the key to a great cut. This includes razor cuts, slide, channel and deep point cutting. Also, I am an expert at very sharp looking clipper cuts.

Conor came in he had a few years ago with long wild hair. He was looking for something shorter and on trend. Being that he has extremely thick hair and is a rugby player, he decided on a very textured haircut on top, and a blended in taper cut for the back and sides.
Conor changes it up, depending on the time of year and if it’s rugby season or not. As you can see, it looks great on him with a matching beard trim. We finished it off with some hair clay and added a little clear paste to hold it back and add shine.
As you have probably noticed, a lot more guys are sporting beards the past few years. If you are one of those guys trying to figure out, ‘how do I take care of this, where to go, who to trust”?
I have been trimming manly-man beards since 1980. I have done thousands of beards without hardly any complaints. I know it takes forever to grow one out, so why put your facial baby into the unknown hands of a rookie?!

Undercut
I traveled around Italy a few years ago for 3 weeks where I noticed a lot of the guys were sporting the “Undercut”. Where the sides are super short and tight and the top left long but textured. It’s so flattering on most face shapes that it’s no wonder guys in Europe and now here are getting it like crazy. Like Brad Pitt in the movie Fury. It’s one of my favorites haircuts as well.
Dapper Cut
The “Dapper Cut”. The hottest men’s haircut for this summer. It’s crisp and groomed to the point of dapper… it cries out for a starched white shirt, slim-fitting suit and cuff links. Today’s hip dudes are opting for a distinctly polished look that can even dress up jeans and a t-shirt, think Adam Levine and Justin Timberlake. The sides and back are tight, the part is significant, the top can be long or mid-length, the texture can be matte or glossy but always smooth and controlled.
